How It Works
Four steps from quote to delivery. Nothing is charged until a carrier is assigned to your vehicle.
Get your price
Enter your pickup and delivery ZIP codes. The calculator prices the real road distance between them and returns an open and enclosed figure in seconds.
Book your date
Confirm the details with a coordinator and pick a date. Nothing is charged until a carrier is assigned to your vehicle.
Pickup & inspection
The driver calls ahead, inspects the vehicle with you and records its condition on the Bill of Lading. You both sign it.
Delivery
The driver calls again before arrival. Inspect the vehicle against the same report, sign, pay the balance and you are done.

Pricing
How We Price a Move
Most auto transport quotes come from a zone chart and change once a carrier actually bids on the load. Ours does not. We price the real road distance between your pickup ZIP and your delivery ZIP, at a flat rate per mile.
- $1.00 per mile of estimated road distance
- $300 base fee covering dispatch, insurance verification and coordination
- +$500 if you want an enclosed carrier instead of open
- Door-to-door pickup and delivery at no extra charge
A 900-mile move is about $1,200. Chicago to Los Angeles works out near $2,340. Run your own ZIP codes and see the number before you give us a phone number.

What Customers Say
Shipped my Tacoma from Chicago to Phoenix. Quote on the site was $1,750 and that is exactly what I paid — no surprise fees at delivery like the last company pulled on me. Driver called ahead both ends.
Used them for our seasonal move to Florida two years running. Booked three weeks out both times, car showed up clean and on schedule. The dispatcher actually answers the phone, which is more than I can say for the big brokers.
Enclosed transport for a 1969 Camaro. Lift gate, soft straps, driver knew what he was doing and sent photos at pickup. Worth the extra $500 for a car I have had for 30 years.

How much does it cost to ship a car?
Our estimate is distance-based: $1 per mile plus a $300 base, for open carrier transport. A 900-mile move runs about $1,200; coast to coast is closer to $2,800. Enclosed transport adds $500. Use the calculator on this page for your exact route — it prices the real road distance between your two ZIP codes.
What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?
Open carriers are the multi-car trailers you see delivering to dealerships. They carry 7 to 10 vehicles, cost the least, and expose your car to weather the same way driving it would. Enclosed carriers are hard-sided trailers carrying 2 to 6 vehicles with no weather exposure, used for classics, exotics and low-clearance cars. Enclosed adds $500 to any quote.
How long does auto transport take?
Transit runs roughly 400 to 500 miles per day once the vehicle is loaded, because drivers are limited by federal hours-of-service rules. Chicago to Florida is typically 3 to 4 days, coast to coast 7 to 10. Add 1 to 5 days for the pickup window on top of that.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. Every carrier we dispatch to carries active cargo insurance, and we verify it before your vehicle is assigned. Damage claims are filed against the carrier policy. Personal items left in the vehicle are not covered.
Can I put personal items in the car?
Up to about 100 lbs in the trunk, below the window line. Carriers are licensed to haul vehicles, not household goods, and DOT weight limits apply to the whole load. Personal belongings are not covered by cargo insurance.
Do I need to be there for pickup and delivery?
Someone does. You or a named representative has to be present to sign the Bill of Lading and walk the inspection at both ends. It can be a friend, relative, neighbor, or a dealership employee.
